In the year of 2015, with the correct leadership of the college committee and cooperative work between Foreign Affairs Office and other departments or divisions, Railway Police College has gained a breakthrough in the aspect of foreign communication and cooperation. There are three delegations visiting 6 educational institutes and 5 police agencies in Britain, France, America and Canada respectively. It has taken a substantive action from scratch to foreign visits.
From September 14 to 28, our first visiting group, with 3 young teachers and 24 students, went to The Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC) of Canada and started a 14-day short-term training.
From September 23 to 30, the first school delegation, led by President Guan Shuguang, set out an 8-day trip to British Transport Police, French National Police and other agencies.
From November 22 to 29, the second delegation, led by Party Secretary Yan Jizhong, set out an 8-day trip to University of New Haven in America and JIBC in Canada.
The foreign visits broadened our horizons and firstly brought Railway Police College, the sole institute to educate railway police talents in China, to the presence of the world. Group visits and international teaching cooperation opened a new page in the history of the college, making a progress in Chinese railway police training.
In 2016, Foreign Affairs Office will put more efforts on international cooperative education, teachers development and bridge a global communication forum through multi-channels on the base of our school features, discipline constructions and faculty. We will work hard to promote the teaching quality and build an influential education brand for our college.
